it took me one whole week to do another entry .. why? i am not sure .. it could be the PS2 thingy or the dvds thingy .. or the malas thingy or the gym thingy .. or perhaps the preparation for the IQ test / interview this afternoon or is it the convo thingy? nah .. hard to choose which from the above that delays my entry here ..
last tuesday or was it wednesday ? my mom woke up at 7.15 am in the morning asking/telling me that her friend (aunty mazura .. she had known me ever since i was born ..) had asked me to come for an interview at rtm for a post at the international relationship department coz she says SERI PUTERI girls is very good in English .. mak asked me to give a thought about it (she does not really approve me working in rtm since now she is in charge of the HR .. she said later people will say "yelah .. bawak masuk anak sendiri" ) .. but the thought of the impressions that were projected by the school name .. kinda proud and sometimes it just be another nightmare .. by mentioning the school name / university name or now even by mentioning the name of the degree that i hold, people tend to have high expectations ... people would go "alaa .. you kan seri puteri's girls, sure boleh buat .." or "your degree says here you majored in software engineering .. i am sure you could do this .." ya ya .. i know this is something good coz people trust you but i am somehow afraid of the later outcome .. if i could not achieve/fullfil their expectations ??
last night, i went to rtm with mak .. she had to supervise a bengkel .. this are my comments after observing the bengkel .. the mc (mak's boss) was kinda like leweh2 making her speech .. if i were at the round table with the participants .. i could have slept or scribling away on a piece of paper .. then there were the group dynamic and etc .. but one thing caught my attention .. the participants were given a task : "bagaimana nak menarik kembali perhatian viewer to rtm? since rtm lah teman setia anda , tetapi viewer tidak tertarik untuk menonton/mendengar saluran rtm?" (i could not remember the exact words but somehow it is something like that) .. this is a common topic at home as i had always voice out my opinion to mak and ba (both of them works at rtm) .. to me the best thing is to rombak semula the whole rtm .. give it a new look .. fresh ideas .. and how do you do this? simple .. recruit more young people .. they have more ideas and knows the need of today's viewers .. rtm masih lagi boleh mengekalkan the moto memberi maklumat etc .. just that they need a new look .. look at tv3,8tv,ntv7 .. at home, we rarely watch rtm.. why? it is not interesting ... try watching bintang rtm/hmi and then switch to audition/malaysian idol .. there you can see differences .. rtm's theme colour always the dark/gloomy colur but the other channels is more colourful .. more lively .. come on RTM !! time to change
